Peer Review Process:

The Agricultural Science and Innovations Journal employs a rigorous and impartial peer review process. All submitted manuscripts undergo thorough evaluation by experts in the relevant field, ensuring the quality, originality, and significance of the research. Our double-blind review system preserves the anonymity of both authors and reviewers, guaranteeing an unbiased assessment.

 

Structure for the Peer-Review Process :

1. Manuscript Submission:

  • Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal's online submission system (https://li01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/ASJ/about/submissions)
  • The submitted manuscripts undergo an initial assessment by the editorial office to ensure they adhere to the journal's guidelines and scope. If (1) the submitted manuscript requires revision, it will be returned to the authors with suggestions; (2) the submitted manuscript is verified, it will be continued to the editor assignment process; and (3) if it is out of scope, then it will be rejected. 

2. Editor Assignment:

  • The editor-in-chief or handling editor assigns the submitted manuscript to an appropriate associate or section editor.

3. Preliminary Evaluation:

  • The assigned editor conducts an evaluation to determine the manuscript's suitability for peer review and invites qualified peer reviewers to assess the manuscript's scientific quality and validity.
  • Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and lack of conflicts of interest.

4. Peer Review Process:

  • Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, methodology, relevance, and significance to the field (within 30 days).
  • Reviewers provide constructive feedback, suggestions, and recommendations to improve the manuscript's clarity and rigor

5. Editorial Decision:

  • Based on the reviewers' comments and recommendations, the editor makes an editorial decision, which may include one of the following options:
    a) Accept: The manuscript is accepted for publication without major revisions.
    b) Minor Revisions: The authors are asked to make minor revisions as suggested by the reviewers.
    d) Major Revisions: The authors are asked to make substantial revisions based on the reviewers' feedback.
    e) Reject: The manuscript does not meet the journal's standards and is unsuitable for publication.

6. Author Revision:

  • If revisions are requested, the authors are given a specific timeframe (within 30 days) to address the reviewers' comments and make the necessary changes.

7. Second Round of Review (if applicable):

  • In cases where major revisions are required, the revised manuscript may undergo a second round of peer review to ensure that the reviewer’s concerns have been adequately addressed.

8. Final Decision:

  • The editor reviews the revised manuscript and the responses from the authors and makes a final decision on acceptance or rejection.

9. Manuscript Acceptance:

  • Once accepted, the manuscript undergoes final formatting and language editing to ensure clarity and consistency.

10. Publication:

  • The accepted and formatted manuscript is published online or in print, making it accessible to the scientific community.

11. Post-Publication:

  • The published article becomes part of the journal's archives and may be cited and referenced by other researchers and scholars.
